Servicing

To ensure that you have hours of enjoyment and hassle free riding on you bicycle, it is essential to keep your bicycle well maintained. We at CYCLENOW have a good selection of products and services by our experienced mechanics to enable you to do this. Service charges are inclusive of GST and is for labor only. No parts will be replaced without the owners approval.


First service on new bikes free of charge

Each one of our new bicycles is sold with one free service. In the first few weeks of cycling, components loosen up and often need adjusting. For this reason we offer the free service and recommend the bicycle is brought in within two months.


Standard Service

(Recommended every 3 months)

  • Adjust Headset
  • Lubricate front and rear Deraileur
  • Align and lubricate front and rear brakes
  • Lubricate Chain and Cable lines
  • Tighten Pedals and Cranks
  • Wheels: check Cones, Bearings
    & Tyre pressure

Suspension Fork Service


Ranges from $35 to $75 excluding parts
Recommended every 50 hours of riding, depending on the model of your fork (Check your fork owners manual, or the
fork manufacturers website for recommended servicing intervals)

Disassembly, through cleaning and reassembly with quality suspension lubricants and oils.

Includes:

  • Elastomer Stacks

  • Spring Assemblies

  • Lower Legs

  • Rebound Cartridges (if applicable)

  • Compression Cartridges (if applicable)


    • All genuine Rock Shox, Marzocchi, Manitou and RST parts used. Service charge is for labour only. No parts are replaced without prior approval. All services are carried out by a fully qualified mechanic.

    Our very experienced mechanics and fully equipped workshops are on hand to tackle any repair. No job is too large or too small. Let our staff give you expert advice and a free quotation for your repairs.
